Our Social Impact Measurement (SIM) Courses
Getting Started with SIM
This introductory webinar provides an overview of Social Impact Measurement (SIM), including a foundational explanation about how various organisations use monitoring, evaluation and/or research to measure the results of their activities.
Building a SIM System
This intensive webinar and eLearning course guides organisations through how to build and manage a complete Social Impact Measurement (SIM) system. This course provides staff and volunteers with in-depth knowledge of key SIM topics.
Using SIM Results
This 2-day course helps organisations to make best use of their data collected. Data can be used for learning and improving activities, to report programming results to funders and stakeholders, and to market and fundraise more effectively.
Grant Management and SIM
Social Impact Measurement (SIM) is a key part of the grant management process for funders and grantees alike. This course ensures that important learning and accountability measures are in place by implementing effective SIM.
What Our Clients Think
“The Theory of Change process and SIM toolkit developed has helped ISCA members to improve on specific aspects of initiatives for ‘hard to reach’ groups, to make more people more active in the longer term and to measure the social impact of their efforts across Europe. We thank inFocus for this journey and look forward to further cooperation!”
“Working with inFocus as long-term and independent partners means that we can really start to tell the story of Spirit’s investment, the early impact it is having on improving wellbeing and provide grantees with an opportunity to provide honest and open feedback on how we are doing a Funder. They share our commitment to formative and genuinely explorative learning. We are excited to be working with them.”
“I found the Theory of Change Training to be a practical and guided way to work through our organisation’s theory of change, and I really enjoyed the innovative way in which the course was conducted”
“The training delivered by inFocus is top notch, relevant, and actionable. If you want to learn how to communicate and measure your impact to drive income, learn from one of the best in the measurement and evaluation sector.”
“The workshop delivered by inFocus not only helped us all to understand the differences between indicators, outcomes and tools for measurement, but it helped develop relationships between delegates that have become so integral to the production of what should be an extremely useful toolkit for anyone working in the field of football and employability. I would have no hesitation in recommending inFocus to any organisation looking to improve the impact of its programmes.”
“It was a great opportunity for me to attend the Infocus training on data collection in Nairobi. I learnt how to work with the trainers of trainees effectively and build their capacity to get quality data during surveys. I am more skilled on data collection process which is fundamental for my work as M & E officer for the Tackle Africa Project”
“The infocus Training on Monitoring and Evaluation has been helpful to me as M & E officer at Moving The Goalposts because my skills on monitoring have been enhanced and I got insight on how to improve on my work. The trainers of trainees course on data collection carried out in February 2016 provided me with advanced skills to train MTG data collectors who worked with external consultants during baseline surveys carried out recently for MTG projects. I appreciate infocus for considering us during their trainings.”
