Call for submissions – Sport for Development and Peace

Are you an organisation working within the sport for development and peace sector? We want to hear from you!

This April 6th 2021 marks the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, and those within the sector will be getting together to celebrate and recognise the amazing work that is being done throughout the world.

To mark this occasion, we would like to highlight some of the great impact measurement and management (IMM) work our members and partners are doing in the sector by sharing your stories and experiences across our website, social media channels and our email database. This is your chance to share your IMM work with your peers in the sector.

If you would like to get involved, we’d encourage you to shout about your impact measurement and management. How do you communicate your impact? What challenges have you faced along the way? What best practices do you follow to meet the outcomes set by your organisation? What tools do you use to measure the impact of your beneficiaries? Why did you decide to work in the sector?

Submissions should ideally meet the following criteria:

  • –   To be written by anyone working within the fields of sport for development and peace: whether you’re a funder, or work or volunteer for an organisation that delivers these projects
  • –   Around 500 – 1000 words
  • –   2 – 3 photos (optional)

Submissions should be sent to office@impactinfocus.com no later than Friday 2nd April 2021 (UPDATE: we’ve happily extended the deadline until Thursday 8th April!)
