This training session will provide participants with practical guidance on qualitative data collection tools and qualitative analysis. Participants will explore different qualitative methods, such as interviews, focus groups, and observational techniques, and learn how to select the most appropriate tools for their evaluation needs. The session will then focus on analysing qualitative data, including thematic analysis and coding techniques, to draw meaningful insights. Through hands-on exercises, attendees will develop confidence in collecting and interpreting qualitative data to enhance impact measurement.

This session will last 90 minutes and will be followed by an additional half hour of optional Q&A time.

Participants will explore how an IM framework supports clear and systematic impact assessment, guiding decision-making and improvement. The session will focus on defining the scope of evaluation by identifying and selecting learning questions that align with organisational priorities. Through practical exercises, attendees will gain clarity on how to frame meaningful questions that drive insight and action and form the base of your IM Framework.
