Yes – the course includes two eLearning modules that you can access at any time as well as the Introduction to Impact Measurement webinar, with dates available throughout the year. Check out the Compare Courses page for more detail on everything included in the course!

When you sign up, you’ll create a username and password to allow you access to your course account. This user profile will get you access to either the FIM course or, if you’ve purchased the CIM course, all the additional elements of the CIM course option as well.
How long the course takes to complete depends on your availability, what you want out of the training and how many hours a week you plan to spend on the material. However, the course is designed to be digested at your own pace and in a fully flexible manner. For the FIM Course you get lifetime access, so you can come back to the content time and again, and also access any updates or additions we make, as we are constantly updating the content and the free tools and resources.
The FIM course contains 1-2 hours of eLearning material as well as the included guides and supplemental materials. We would recommend you anticipate it taking 2-3 hours total to take full advantage of all the course has to offer. The CIM course contains 10-12 hours of eLearning and materials.
No problem – we run the Introductory Webinar very frequently, so if you aren’t available for the current dates, you are sure to be able to make one in the very near future, just keep an eye on the events calendar and ensure you are subscribed to our training newsletter/email updates.

Yes! You can sign up for the FIM course for FREE and access the Introductory Webinar whenever one is scheduled. You can learn more about CoPiloting here. The CoPilot Discovery session consists of a 30 minute call with an MEL expert (included for FREE with both courses). The MEL Health Check is a ‘deeper-dive’ independent, expert audit of your existing MEL system that will provide you with immediately implementable action steps to improve your MEL’s effectiveness. It is included for FREE only with a CIM course membership, but you can get a Health Check separately for a small fee. See here for more details about the Health Check.
The FIM course is free forever! No bait and switch tactics here. You can sign up for the FIM course and access it whenever works for you. Whether you plan to go through it quickly or your availability is limited and you’ll need to take your time completing the material, it is there for you to use whenever you are able and you will never be charged. We will send you some information about the CIM (Complete Impact Manager) course while you engage with the FIM (Foundations in Impact Management) course in case you’d like to engage in further learning once you finish with FIM, but you never have to upgrade or pay a dime if you don’t want to.
