Margarida has over 6 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation and learning and over 8 years in data analysis from international development across Europe, Asia and Africa. She is competent in applying both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, particularly within theory-based evaluations. As a consultant, she has supported several organisations developing and strengthening theories of change as well as implementing monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) data collection systems and frameworks to support tracking and measurement. With a passion for analytics and digital solutions, she has extensive knowledge of different techniques, tools and software that can best identify potential impacts and outcomes from different strategies and translate them into recommendations and learning opportunities. She has experience working for several projects and in field-based operations in a variety of thematic areas and has a deep understanding of the key role of M&E within the programme cycle and the need for evidence-based decision making.
