Sports Unites Case study: Community Touch Rugby

We’re delighted to share our case study on Sports Unites grantee London Skolars Rugby Football League Club and their ‘Community Touch Rugby’ project

In December 2019, the Greater London Authority (GLA), as part of the Mayor of London’s Sport Unites investment programme, funded London Skolars Rugby Football League Club to run a the ‘Community Touch Rugby’ project. The GLA invested £3,335 in the project as part the Stronger Communities grant scheme.  The project consisted of 12 weekly touch rugby sessions running through to February 2020.  Our case study outlines the outcomes of the project and aims to inform the future direction of the Sport Unites investment programme and give insight to other community sport organisations running similar activities.
