Yasmin is a social change professional with 8 years’ professional work experience in the charity sector, within impact businesses and in IMM consulting. She is recognised for a motivated, people-orientated, and solution-focused approach. Prior to joining inFocus, Yasmin gained broad experience in the social sphere in the UK, Chile and The Netherlands within international organisations including in the public and community health sector, within a post-conflict context, in humanitarian response & research, as well as in a start-up that uses technology for social integration purposes. Yasmin obtained a post-graduate degree on a prestigious thirty-student course in Conflict Resolution & Governance from the University of Amsterdam in 2019. For her master’s thesis she travelled to Vrindavan, Northern India in partnership with inFocus to undertake a research project on the emancipation of girls and women through a female only education programme. Yasmin joined inFocus initially as an Associate and started as part of the full-time team at the start of 2022. Throughout her time at inFocus Yasmin has worked on learning and evaluation projects in the digital space including for Catalyst, Teenage Cancer Trust and Nominet, on gender and women’s programmes for FFLV, St. Giles, Gamcare and Terre Des Hommes, on International and Leadership projects for IREX and Right to Play.
